Live Wedding Painting Process

On your wedding day, I will arrive to the venue about two hours before the event. I will prep my canvas, take reference photos/videos, and begin working on the background. If I am painting the ceremony, I will set up in the ceremony space, paint as guests arrive, and take reference videos/photos during the ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, I will move into the reception space and provide entertainment for the guests as I work on the painting throughout the event. If I am painting the first dance or a reception scene, I will set up in the reception space and remain there for the duration of the event. Depending on what scene/pose you choose, I may snap reference photos during a designated time that we decide on together during our planning meeting.

After the wedding, I will take the painting home with me, even if it seems to be complete. I always want to look at it in my studio with fresh eyes to ensure that I’ve captured the highest level of detail and accuracy. Once it is complete and varnished, it will be ready for pick-up or shipping (usually within 6-8 weeks).

The cost to hire Fontenot Fine Art to paint at your wedding will start at $2,400

If you’ve reviewed all of my info, and you are interested in booking, please fill out the inquiry form to check my availability. If I am available, we will choose your package, and I will send you a contract. Once I receive the completed contract, along with a 25% deposit, your date will be secured! It is really that easy! When we are a couple weeks out from the event, we will setup a time to chat via phone or email to go over your vision and ensure that we are on the same page.
